Exploring Future Possibilities in Halaçlı and Subaşı
ANKARA - On Friday, October 30, 2026, Tohumluk Foundation visited Halaçlı Mansion and the Subaşı School Building with Hüseyin Şemsi Uysal, Head of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality’s Rural Services Department.
Pınar Ayhan, Hakan Osman Sert, Murat Berkyürek, and Gül Aran took part in the visit. Together, we examined both sites, considered their potential, and exchanged ideas about possible future initiatives and opportunities for collaboration.
For us, site visits are an important way to understand the possibilities a place offers and discuss ideas for its future. Our time in Halaçlı and Subaşı provided an opportunity to share perspectives and explore how we might work together.
In keeping with our commitment to building bridges between urban and rural communities, we value opportunities for local spaces to contribute to community life. We aim to develop our work through dialogue and firsthand observation.
We thank Hüseyin Şemsi Uysal and everyone who participated in the visit. At Tohumluk Foundation, we continue sharing ideas and exploring partnerships that can strengthen solidarity in rural communities.
