Tohumluk Foundation Explicit Consent for the Processing of Personal Data (TV.B.03-01)

 

I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understood the Privacy Notice on the Processing and Protection of Personal Data provided to me by Tohumluk Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the “Foundation”) in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK). I confirm that I have been duly informed regarding the processing of my personal data.

In connection with my relationship with the Foundation as a volunteer and/or donor, I freely and expressly consent to the processing of my personal data by the Foundation and, where necessary, by authorized third parties, for purposes including but not limited to:

  • Managing volunteer, donor and service-related activities;

  • Planning and implementing human resources policies and operational processes;

  • Planning, promoting and delivering the Foundation’s programmes, projects and services;

  • Planning and implementing the Foundation’s organizational and operational strategies;

  • Ensuring the legal, technical and operational security of the Foundation and its stakeholders.

I further expressly consent to the processing, storage and use of all my personal data, including any special categories of personal data (such as information relating to foundation or association memberships), both previously collected and collected in the future, for as long as my relationship with the Foundation continues and thereafter for the retention periods required under applicable legislation.

Where necessary and solely for the purposes described above, I also consent to the transfer of my personal data to domestic and international service providers, business partners, suppliers and other authorized third parties, as well as to public authorities and governmental institutions where required by law.

I understand that, under the applicable data protection legislation, I have the right to:

  • Learn whether my personal data is being processed;

  • Request information regarding the processing of my personal data;

  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether my personal data is used in accordance with that purpose;

  • Know the third parties to whom my personal data has been disclosed, whether within Türkiye or abroad;

  • Request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;

  • Request the deletion or destruction of my personal data where the legal conditions are met;

  • Request that any correction, deletion or destruction be communicated to third parties to whom my personal data has been transferred;

  • Object to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning me;

  • Seek compensation if I suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of my personal data.

For the purposes of this Consent, personal data may include, but is not limited to:

  • Identity information (name, surname, age);

  • Contact information (email address, telephone number);

  • Address information;

  • Educational information (education level, school or university);

  • Employment information (profession, employer);

  • Membership information relating to foundations or associations;

  • Bank account information.
