Bursa Volunteers Prepare for the Eker Run with Creativity and Collaboration
BURSA – On 24 September 2026, the Tohumluk Foundation Bursa Volunteer Team came together for a productive workshop to prepare for the upcoming Eker Run, combining creative production with strategic planning.
Hosted by our volunteer Semra Esen, the workshop focused on creating handcrafted items that will be displayed and offered at the Tohumluk Foundation's stand during the event. Volunteers produced environmentally friendly reusable beeswax food wraps and handcrafted ornaments, reflecting the Foundation's commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
Alongside the production activities, participants reviewed the final preparations for the Eker Run, including stand organization, volunteer responsibilities, visitor engagement, and fundraising strategies. The goal is to increase awareness of the Foundation's work, strengthen volunteer participation, and create meaningful connections with supporters throughout the event.
At the Tohumluk Foundation, we believe that every handmade product represents more than craftsmanship—it symbolizes solidarity, generosity, and the collective effort of people working together for a meaningful cause. Every item prepared by our volunteers contributes to supporting our projects in education, culture, arts, rural development, and community empowerment.
The gathering was more than a planning meeting; it was an inspiring example of collaboration, creativity, and volunteer spirit.
