Purpose of the Committee
The Health Committee works in close collaboration with the Foundation’s Board of Directors to develop strategic priorities in the field of health. The Committee plans, implements and evaluates health-related initiatives, while reporting annually on its activities, outcomes and recommendations.
Committee Responsibilities
The Committee shall:

Plan and organize health education and awareness programmes for the Foundation’s primary beneficiary groups—children, young people, women, older adults and disadvantaged communities—based on identified needs and in consultation with Foundation members.

Develop projects that promote health awareness while supporting the Foundation’s mission of advancing the social, cultural, economic and community development of rural areas.

Organize small-group health education sessions in response to the needs and requests of communities served by the Foundation.

Coordinate awareness events at educational institutions on internationally recognized health observance days (such as World No Tobacco Day).

Recommend and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures related to the Committee’s field of responsibility.

Identify the professional expertise of volunteer healthcare members and organize training that enables them to contribute effectively to the Foundation’s field activities.

Ensure that all educational programmes delivered by Committee members are documented and archived.

Prepare and submit an annual report on the Committee’s activities to the Board of Directors.

Hold regular Committee meetings on scheduled dates each month.

Prepare and archive formal minutes of each meeting, including the meeting date, agenda, participants and decisions taken.
