Purpose of the Provincial Groups

The Provincial Groups represent Tohumluk Foundation at the local level in accordance with the Foundation’s mission, vision, values and corporate identity. They serve as the Foundation’s local presence, strengthening relationships with communities and supporting the implementation of its programmes and projects.

Responsibilities of the Provincial Groups

The Provincial Groups shall:

  • Work closely with the Foundation’s Board of Directors and Committees to develop projects that respond to local needs and implement approved projects within their province.

  • Build strong partnerships with local authorities and institutions, serving as the operational link between the Foundation and the communities it serves.

  • Promote the Foundation’s mission and activities locally and host Foundation projects and events within their province.

  • Recruit and engage new volunteers to strengthen the Foundation’s local network.

  • Maintain effective communication with public institutions and local governments to ensure the Foundation’s active participation in projects aligned with its mission.

  • Collaborate with other civil society organizations operating within the province to encourage joint initiatives and partnerships.

  • Conduct visits to villages and rural communities, identify local needs and work with the Foundation’s leadership to transform those needs into sustainable projects.

Operations of the Provincial Groups

Provincial Groups coordinate their activities primarily through the official WhatsApp group established for volunteers within their province.

Each Provincial Group holds at least two regular meetings every month (preferably weekly). Meeting dates and agendas are shared in advance with group members and the Board of Directors.

Minutes of each meeting are prepared by the Provincial Secretary and distributed to group members and the Board of Directors.

Decisions are adopted by a majority vote of members present and are implemented collectively by the Provincial Group.
