İZMİR – On 21 June 2026, Tohumluk Foundation had the pleasure of attending the end-of-year piano recital held at Koçanlı Mansion in Çandarlı, celebrating the remarkable achievements of young students on their musical journey.
The event was attended by the Foundation’s Chair of the Board, Pınar Ayhan, who joined families, educators and guests in applauding the students’ performances. The recital marked the culmination of a year-long piano education programme led by Ece and Şivan Adalı, who live in Katıralan Village in Dikili, in collaboration with Marsyas Art. Throughout the evening, the students confidently demonstrated the musical skills they had developed over the course of the year, earning warm appreciation from the audience.
Every performance reflected months of dedication, discipline and perseverance, reminding us how profoundly arts education nurtures children’s self-confidence, creativity and ability to express themselves. The recital beautifully illustrated the lasting value of sustained artistic learning and the positive impact it has on young lives.
The event also provided an opportunity to exchange ideas on the importance of expanding access to arts education for children living in rural communities and to explore potential areas of future collaboration. Participants emphasized that the arts are not only a powerful means of personal development but also an essential tool for strengthening social cohesion and promoting equal opportunities.
At Tohumluk Foundation, we believe that every opportunity for children to engage with the arts, education and new experiences helps them build a brighter and more confident future. We remain committed to supporting initiatives that increase access to culture and the arts, particularly for children living in rural areas.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ece and Şivan Adalı, the Marsyas Art team, the dedicated instructors and all the families whose commitment made this inspiring event possible.
We firmly believe that children who grow up surrounded by art become confident, creative and compassionate individuals—and the strongest ambassadors of a hopeful future.
